Jordan Peterson

I consider myself a socialist because i want more equality in the economy. Worldwide in the end, but my thoughts are in 1st world countries to begin with... my focus if you will

I do like the idea of feminism, though i dont like that "they" want make that word mean equality, thats my biggest problem with that movement. Mostly because i think women and men can play to different strengths - and that equality should start from there. I see way too many feminists scream out wage and not consider other differences... Im male, so me trying to look at it objectively is probably not fair, but that goes the other way too

I do however think there should be a limit to how much a person makes.... I think this will be a big discussion the following decades when automation will make it really clear that "real work" vs control is way too unequal.
I think that is my most socialist claim, that and that people shouldnt be able to buy political votes, but thats a problem in both directions, probably... I think way too many way too "right wingers" think that many socialists want to jump from imperfect inequality to imperfect equality.
I think im on the other side of JP on the political spectrum, but it doesnt mean i cant listen to him. Hear and agree with a lot of what he says. I just think the world would be better with less competition... because too much is unhealthy for the whole world IMO - except in sports. Probably unhealthy, but doesnt create wars as far as i know :P

Just watched an interview and im a little drunk, haha. Just wanted to share my thoughts.

Side question: Since im not from the US (or canada) i wonder about what has happened to Jordan Peterson and if its like this "all over". I dont consider myself as left as the leftist he attacks/defends himself against, but is this common or just a few universities?
