They're a fringe that unfortunately do exist. The silver lining is that these cringe-inducing people rarely ever get what they're demanding. And as Admiral suggested, they eventually settle for what they can get in desperation (usually with a person who might only meet a small fraction of the original criteria). That's if they're lucky. Plenty of them don't even get that far because their standards are too steep and impractical in regards to what they offer in return. Reality typically wins out in the end. That being said, these people still have the equal right to advertise their personal standards when looking to date. They just accept a higher unlikelihood of success that goes along with it.
