So? The Bush 2 tax cuts were supposed to expire in ten years, which together with the $300 bribe to everybody was how they got passed. But ten years later his cousin made them permanent.

I don't see these being any different, letting them expire as designed will then be attacked as 'raising taxes' again.

So the worst thing about this is in 7 years they will expire? Seven years? In that time we might pass another bill to implement something else.
