DarkChozoGhost 12/19/17 9:40:57 PM #1:	When Mario Kart 8 came out, Wii U sales skyrocketed. There was an almost 700% increase in sales. In addition to that, the game had an unprecedented attach rate. The Pokemon Go fad may not have lasted long, but it certainly left quite the impression. With the way the Switch is being marketed, they'll very likely appeal to that crowd. If the game is a full blown 1st gen remake, or even just a return to Kanto with a revamped story, I could see it doing pretty well. --- My sister's dog bit a hole in my Super Mario Land cartridge. In that case, less people overall had Wii Us at the time so there was also more potential for big spikes in console sales compared to the Switch.
