We're all good!

Disney: We got our act together towards the end, and it was a fantastic trip bar freshmen girl drama! I think my favorite parts were the clinic we did with the kids, Fantasmic, the Safari, some of the food, and Voices of America

Culdcept: Started out very strong, fell behind in midgame, caught up after a big AI misplay. Missed goal by a couple hundred. Both Zeneth and I hit goal....and Zeneth hit the next checkpoint before I did. I....I can't do this anymore.

Hyrule Warriors But On The 3DS: I had a blast! Then it crashed the first time I got the special attack on King Dodongo in the tutorial. I hope that's not a persistent problem, but it was a gift, it was used, and I was just using it as filler because...

Pokemon Gold or Silver: I want YOU to help pick my final team! I'm asking six different people/groups to pick a Pokemon each. Please try to pick a fully evolved form that can learn an HM or two, and keep in mind this is Virtual Console so I can't really trade, but those are the only requests I have. First person to respond picks my second pokemon! First one was a Dragonite, per the guy who got me the games. He wants me to give him Outrage and Speed IVs.

Watchmen: I really like all the parallel constructions. Also glad that Manhattan isn't entirely out of the story.

GoT: Tyrion's bandits are kinda growing on me.

Lucha Underground 1-12b: Sexy beats Mariachi with a rollup in one of her better matches so far. (**1/2) It's finally time for Drago/Cuerno Last Man Standing! Much slower pace than I'd expect from these two, but still good. Stuuuuupid finish as Cuerno not only ties up Drago but pulls on the ropes. I already hate the tying up spot as a finish (DUCT TAPE?!? ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?) but it shouldn't even count in kayfabe if Cuerno is actively holding him down. (***)

GoT: Quite a series of announcements, that!

Persona: Futaba's mask is kinda great. Sun 8 is getting interesting, as is Devil 5.

It's time for

Pokemon Silver: After winning the right to create his own world for once, Zeneth decided to take a more direct role in monster combat, and set forth into his creation of Johto. It looked like Sych found his way there, as well, and the struggle began....

I finished asking everybody to set up my team, and wound up with Typhlosion, Dragonite, Umbreon, Clefable, Lanturn, and Kingler. Most of those I think show up pretty late, so that's gonna be kinda weird. Anyway, I played a good chunk last night and some this morning, and loved it. I played Gold AND Silver back when they came out, but didn't get very far in either, so this is the perfect mix of nostalgia and freshness for me. I didn't realize how much I'd appreciate the old 2D graphics, and I've yet to really miss some of the modern conveniences of the series. (except I thought I got running shoes at the beginning so that's a bummer) I've gotten past Violet City already. My team right now is Quilava, Onix (very excited to finally have one on my team! Even though he sucks and I have no real means of evolving him), Bellsprout (once I get to a Pokecenter and drop my Zubat), Hoothoot, Weedle, and THE MYSTERIOUS EGG. (how do we not know how pokemon reproduce? geeze) Map is kinda confusing to me for some reason, and I'm not sure why they put in Flash and Dark Cave this early and then stuck most of it behind Rock Smash anyway. I also kinda missed having a rival who was a jerk- IIRC Gen II was the last time that happened before they became friendly rivals instead.

Really, that's what Hasbro did, by cutting Forgotten Friendship into a 10+ minute chunk, so that makes it about one quarter of the full version already shown previously. I guess the only benefit of this is the removal of the "Discovery Family" watermark and any ad space used in the corners of the screen and such.

Lucha 1-13a: Cage gets a title shot tonight! He's still boring on the mic tho. Fenix/Muertes matches gets a "Let's go Fenix/Fenix sucks" chant, which is funny but I hope it doesn't become a thing. Fenix (and Muertes for that matter) is better than that. Fenix wins off of getting superplexed, right as they're starting to get into it. :\ (**1/2) Cage HYPE VIDEO. Tiger Mask W 38- Masked Tiger Springer: So the Stephanie McMahon standin is starting a women's wrestling movement! ALSO HARUKA EP IS FINALE THIS IS A GOOD. Hey, it's Odin! I thought he was dead lol. This was a bit of an odd choice for a final episode, so I assume it was some sort of bonus. Regardless, it was a very fun time, even though Haruna neither showed her butt nor definitively wound up with Tiger. This was a great show! Now I want to see the original, or a sequel following Haruna.

Unfortunately, neither are available to me. Let's see...I've been craving something kinda 90s-ish, which crunchyroll does not have in abundance. Let's go with....

Martian Successor Nadesico 1: ....Yep, this is exactly in line with what I wanted. Old-school art, heavy derp, and a setting that will probably hit some serious notes now and then. I wanted Slayers or Ranma, but this'll do quite nicely, and it's been on my list for a long time.

GoT: Beated! I was aware dragons were coming at some point, and figured this would be the point at which they would do so, but it was still a pretty cool scene.

Pretty much right now I support "anybody but the Lannisters" which I suspect might be the idea they're going for. Excited for the ensuing grand melee :D ....I had a feeling Maester Cressen wasn't going to succeed, but I am extra sad for Team Stannis now. Also Joffrey is gonna kill that drunk knight pretty hard in about two sentences from where I stopped. Also I have no idea how to spell anybody's name and the reader's thick accent, while pleasant and immersive, is not helping. It took half of book 1 to realize they weren't talking about "guards' woods."
