And think that society would be better off if it were severely restricted or completely gotten rid of in the u.s.? Heard that with the new net neutrality thing in congress that there will be some serious clamps on it.

It's a tricky thing. Gotta be careful that the content your supporting is as above board as it can be. You can sort of tell when your watching the dirty stuff that the girl really doesn't want to be there or is on so many drugs she doesn't know where she is.

Fap responsibly friends.

Porn destroys marriage, objectifies women, harms their respect and image in the minds of men, and is completely repugnant. If you support it, you're part of the problem and share some of the guilt that comes with it.

Yes, porn is bad.

It's not bad for everyone, but the attitude towards it has become way too complacent IMO. I don't think watching porn every day (or even just four days a week) is normal and healthy. That's not even getting into how gross and disturbing the material itself can be. I wouldn't even consider myself addicted, but I stopped watching because I felt like I was spending too much time looking at it and I was obviously getting way too desensitized.

I'm not gonna do the whole "post-by-post" response with you, sk8r_ryan. You're clearly more interested in pleasuring your body than in educating your mind. I'm not interested in a petty argument. Just wanted to answer the TC's question.

Anyone who advocates or supports porn will go to any length to generalize their habit. Like a drug addict. Different materials, same excuses. You either accept the truth, or stay part of the problem.

If you really need evidence that badly, look at divorce rates and sex slave statistics. The porn industry massively contributes to those issues, both indirectly and directly, and may be solely responsible for them.

Porn's not bad. Some people can't do it in moderation. Just because some people don't like it doesn't mean it's bad. If you don't like it, don't watch it. But don't say someone's a horrible person for liking it.

I quit watching a couple years ago. I don't believe in restricting people's freedom to watch it if they desire, but I do think it contributes to unrealistic expectations and a desire to play the field rather than settling down.

Personally I just feel better without the excessive stimulation.

There is a longitudinal study going on about how excessive hormones and the stimulation of pleasure centers effect males.

In 2015 they were starting to draw conclusions about erectile dysfunction I remember.

Never understood that argument because then it should also apply to males who constantly have physics sex every day.

What I will say though is I remember being with a woman and having a hard time getting it up and then going to the bathroom and watching porn to help.

Their subjects were really sad kids who were watching porn habitually for like four or more hours a day from puberty to their 20s.

Not sure I got up to 4 hours but I was one of those kids.

I dont have terrible erectile dysfunction most of the time, and that probably has more to do with those kids and myself having clinical depression than watching porn.

Depression is a huge trigger for that.

Right, because you're dependent on visual stimuli. That's the difference. Having sex is more about physical stimulation. Porn is about physically getting off from a visual stimulus. There's a separation there that causes issues like the one you experienced.
