I was raised Catholic and used to do readings for my church. I also played with the church band, and began working with other churches in the same capacity. I quickly realized how much of it was simply politics, and I had already been questioning my beliefs. Nowadays, I'm a non-believer. However, I consider myself agnostic. I lean towards atheist, as most agnostic people do, but who am I to say whether or not there is a being (or multiple beings) on a level higher than our own?

Buddhism isn't a religion.

Buddhism is considered a nontheistic religion. It involves a variety of beliefs and spiritual practices, just like other religions. Also, the definition of religion is "a particular system of faith and worship", and does not require acknowledgement of any higher being.

But you are correct in stating that Buddhism has no god, if that's what you were implying.

I'm Christian but I'm slowly leaning away. Not from the GOD doesn't exist but how factual the bible truly is. Jesus was a real person that either was literally the son of GOD or truly connected to him. I believe muhammad was a real profit that lost his way.

Non-theistic religions are still religions.

As for me, I took the "other" option -- I'm Unitarian. (The theologically diverse modern British form, specifically, not entirely unlike Unitarian Universalism but not exactly the same either. See http://www.unitarian.org.uk if you have questions.)

Your poll is flawed;
Catholic is Christian (did you mean non-catholic christian religions with christian?)
Buddhism is not a religion (I know in some places it's used and practiced as a religion, but in most places it's a way of life. And you haven't listed other non religious way of lives so it stands out.)
You spelled Atheist wrong.
And lastly there is no option for people who are not religious!
A lot of people, almost everyone I know, are just not religious. They're not agnostic (they think they know there is no higher being) and they're not atheist (because they're not anti religion.)

The question was What religion are you? and What do you believe on?
I assumed "other" meant another religion, not in the poll, like Sikhism or Zoroastrianism.
Not religious is a big group, and very different from "other religions".

Depends on how you want to define it. I think there is a possibility that a higher being exists, so some would say that is agnostic, but I also think that if there is such a being they don't deserve to be worshipped in the first place so religion doesn't matter anyway and some would say that makes me athiest.

Nah, I'd call that agnostic all the way. You're not sure if any deity exists, whether or not you would worship them; if you had proof they existed you still wouldn't worship them, but you wouldn't deny they existed, from what you've said. Atheism is a total lack of belief in the existence of any deity, whether or not they might be worth worship. And that you don't have.

Well, that's why I'm Unitarian =P

I was brought up Anglican to the age of eleven (my primary/elementary school had close ties with the village church), figured out by then I was at least agnostic, ran across Unitarian Universalism mentioned somewhere when I was 17, and realised the core beliefs of that faith were surprisingly close to mine.

I've been part of the British Unitarian community ever since - now I'm in my 30s I'm actually on the management committee of my congregation (elected - each congregation manages itself and its own building separately from the formal governing body, that only really steps in when anything big goes wrong), and I help out where I can. Got a choir concert tomorrow. But otherwise we don't really publicise ourselves - and, unlike a lot of religions, we do not go in for conversion. I can't abide people of faith who actually push for such a thing - how they could possibly believe someone who had been pressured into saying they believe something could truly be sure of that, well.

But to get back to the point, what I was trying to say is that all those grey areas are very important in Unitarianism. There's very little black-and-white about being Unitarian, and that's how I like it :)

agnostic. though after I strayed from Christianity I some research to see if any other religions peaked my interest. thing that seemed the best to be honestly was the church of satan. and to be clear they don't actually worship the devil, they are a group of atheists. but like 98% of their moral code is actually pretty good stuff imo, shit like never harm a child. never harm a animal unless its self defense or for food, and to never make sexual advances on a woman unless she's made it clear shes ok with it. they even had shit like don't go into a place like say a christian church and attack or mock their beliefs as thats just asking for trouble.

in the end though I just go with agnostic. going with them would be aligning more with atheism and a part of me is still unsure.
