We still could if we want to give the ultimate middle finger. We'd have to move Judge or Harper to Center which sounds horrible, but when you have your 1-7 spot hit 300 HRs do you really care?

Anyway obvious conflict of interest/favoritism with Jeter dealing here. Mlb should've never allowed him to own a team. What a tarnish on his image.

His odds of hitting 62 drastically go up as the DH. You can of course have Judge DH some admin well as he come in to RF. But we don't want him injured.

i live upstate and i thought he was okay. i don't know how MWC and Extha are convinced he was so amazing. his in-game decision-making was questionable (though probably average compared to most managers) and apparently he wasn't brought back because couldn't connect well with the players. i don't see the change making a big difference.

I thought Girardi was a better than average manager. There's going to be a lot of extra scrutiny when you manage a NY team. Some decision making was questionable. I have no idea what he was like in the clubhouse as I have no affiliation with the team. But I'll put some faith in Cashman and Boone here.

My old manager used to have everyones backs and did what people wanted out of a manager. Business changed and young employees started replacing the old and he got demoted because young people didnt like what he did and felt he didnt have their backs. I can see how this happened to Girardi and how the young players really didnt like him but the old guys did.

honestly his roster spot is more of a problem now than the money. apparently Stanton's whole contract is averaged out for luxury tax purposes, and the $30M the Marlins will eat after 2020 lowers it as well, so the Yankees are still $20M under the cap even now.
