But the end game is pretty bad, Bungie made questionable design decisions trying to encourage lootbox purchases, and have straight up lied to their consumers. It's not bad. It doesn't have a huge endgame, but honestly, I think people need to stop measuring games by that anyway. When we played games years ago, we didn't beat the game and go "yeah, well it's a rip off because there is nothing to do but play the game again!". It just seems like such a non-point. Bungie barely used loot boxes in this. The majority of the purchases are cosmetic. The only ones that have any sort of tangible use are vehicles, which you get anyway for beating the game. Not sure why anyone would even complain. The game basically was everything people asked out of the first one. There was a better story, with a clearer villain. The story was all in-game. The methods for unlocking and finding things wasn't as obtuse. They included a map and matchmaking for higher level tasks (given, those things should have been in the first game ot begin with). All in all, it's a solid entry that will probably keep me coming back with each DLC. Once you beat the raid for the first time, then you have done everything there is to do. There are no rewards other than reskinned armor and players have agreed that Destiny 2's pvp is the biggest laughing stock this generation.
