xBloodBrotherx 11/23/17 11:57:35 AM #1:	Why did people hate this movie again? I thought it was as good of a sequel to the original as could be expected. I thought it did a good job satirizing the 24 hour news cycle arguably just as well as the original satirized the local news schtick. I thought it introduced enough new absurdist humor like the dinner scene, shark, and blindness bits as well as not really half assing the obvious "remember this thing from the original!" jokes like many comedy sequels do. Like the big fight scene for example managed to be even more absurd and over the top than the last time so even though it was rehashed I felt it still landed as a joke. I put off watching it because so many people said how even though they liked the original that the second was just bad, wasn't funny at all, etc. but I don't really see any glaring issues with it. It didn't really have an "I'm in a glass case of emotion!" "Milk was a bad choice" "60% of the time, it works every time" etc. quotes but I thought it was a quality follow up and don't really get all the negative reviews compared to the positive of the first. I don't see how you could like one and not the other. But anyways I'm a little sketchy on Zoolander 2 though because that seems extremely panned far worse than Anchorman 2.
