Current Events > Should gamefaqs have a rant section?

the idea of a rant section is for people to argue, insult or call out certain users they don't like or talk about things they don't like without risking karma points or getting banned.

others forums I've visit have something similar where the only place they could do things like this is in section called rants.

true that you can, but even if you weren't an unreasonable dick you'd still get marked down for moderation. due to baiting the person/flaming. whatever other shenanigans you could get banned for, for calling out said person. the idea of it is just to keep all negativity in there. yes there should be some moderation only when it's gets out of hands like death threats or anything relating to pornography.

just saying one section wouldn't be bad after all about 60% percent of Gfaqs boards been ghost towns for years. it could be a good thing to have.

right, but this isn't the idea is have for a rant section. my idea of it is more like place where people can vent bitch moan etc would being moderated by sensitive mods.
