No matter what Marvel does, they just have to consistently do better than suicide squad because the memory of that turd isn't going away anytime soon.
BvS wasn't as great as it should have been and WW was ok but weak in places-if JL turns out to be as busy/messy as I suspect it's going to be a real shame.

Honestly, both of their comics are borderline unreadable at this point.

TV shows I'm not following anything that DC is doing atm and I'm behind on the Netflix Marvel shows.

I really need to get into the rebirth comics, I only have a handful. and unfortunately save one series, i'm missing issues in between issues which irritates me. also my local comic shop went out of business. they had a cool set up too, they owned two stores in the strip, one called the hero's cave I think and the other called the villain's hideout. never got a chance to look into the villain's hideout, but I think its just where they held tournaments and games like DnD and magic. where as the hero's store sold the comics and figurines

I actually liked what new 52 stuff I read. but I seem to be a very easy to please guy on a lot of things. marvel though I could just never get into other than deadpool really, though I do want to get into spiderman comics and maybe captain america, but x-men and avengers (or the heroes who make them up) i've never really cared for

captain america though i've only ever been interested in though because ever since MvC 2 hes been one of my mains in those games

what i've read is justice league vs suicide squad. and a few issues of deathstroke. i've only got up to like issue 10 of deathstroke but missing like 4 issues somewhere in the mix. and the JL vs SS im missing issue 1, but I've read it at least. made me mad the comic shop had every issue but number 1.

to be fair though I prefer smaller more contained series like JL vs SS. as such i'm much quicker to pick up a graphic novel over a normal comic. wish they'd do that more often, like they did with throne of Atlantis in new 52. just took all the issues that went into that story arc and put into one book. and it had issues from both the aquaman and JL series I believe.

I also have death of superman like that. it has like 3-5 different comic series issues in it all leading up to that fateful issue where superman "died"

I liked what I read of her new 52 run (WW) need to finish that as I never figured out how she resolved her being the god of war problem without fanning the flames of war

I like harely quinn. actually I love her but idk if I could get into a solo series of her, haven't tried to be honest, but she always seems best when shes got other people to play off. other than the joker, there shes just "ehh" as she just feels like a sidekick at that point.

wtf? don't do her like they did jimmy olsen back in the day where he randomly got super powers here and there only to loose them shortly after.

I think I read a few pages of a new 52 comic of hers, and it just seemed like they where trying to make her DC's deadpool in terms of 4th wall breaking. though technically joker did before deadpool. just never caught on with him like deadpool

she also has "super" human strength, not as in shes stronger than even a peak human, just stronger than she should be for her size and build. and i'd say peak human or even above agility/acrobatics.

all of which where side effects from that gift poison ivy gave her IIRC that made her immune/resistant to nearly every poison/toxin in the world

edit: like shes still not even as strong as batman. just probably as strong as a regular sized muscular dude compared to her being a petite female.

and to be fair I think I got this info off wiki. so I could be wrong

He's also one of the lamest heroes around.

I really dislike Batman and Superman. Funnily enough, I like all the pre Batman Begins movies more than the Batman Begins trilogy.

your opinion and many others differ. batman has always been one of the most well known and loved heroes by the mainstream crowd. I mean look how many movies hes had compared to others through out time, not just counting recent history.

I think his popularity is starting to slip though. probably because hes over used. they even shoe horned him into the justice league dark animated movie.

also on "well known" factor ignoring popularity altogether last I checked, superman was number 1, spiderman was number 2, and batman was number 3. according to some study where I think they walked around a city and asked random people do you know "____"

Thor did better than Wonder Woman, score 1 for Marvel
Injustice 2 was better than Marvel vs Capcom, score 1 for DC

If WB can pull off a high rating for JL while making bank, the year will probably go to them

while injustice has this 1 sec input delay that makes your animations come later

you can't win with either

It's a harder call because it's up to the player. Injustice is decently balanced (some characters are obviously better than others but it's not a horribly stale roster) and Marvel is very new but apparently quite solid and fun. Some people just cannot stand NRS games and other people think Marvel is just pseudo-anime bullshit. If I had to make a call I think MvC has more inertia behind it. Even people who don't play fighting games might at least know some "It's Mahvel baby!" memes while the most popular Injustice meme is that Aquaman is braindead spam.

I think injustice "won" more because it did less to piss the fan base off. aside from people griping about guest characters, most of the characters where wanted by at least a chunk of the fans. where as Marvel kind of shot themselves in the foot by not putting x-men characters in or characters FOX owns the movie rights to period.
