sonic doesn't belong in 3d. it should have stayed a 2d series. at least Mario 64 and Mario Galaxy are fun

I think SA2 is slightly better than SA1 but they are close. They really are different experiences.

I wish there was an SA3 with SA2's gameplay and Adventure Fields.

That isn't to say SA1's gameplay is bad... it's great.

Sonic - Really good in SA1 but the SA2 Sonic/Shadow gameplay is improved

Tails - Basically Sonic's gameplay but you are Tails and are racing Sonic. I wish there was a hard mode

Knuckles - Ok in SA1. Vastly improved in SA2

Amy - Ok

E102 Gamma - Very good, and improved in SA2 I don't know why the Tails/Robotnik gameplay in SA2 is hated so much.

Big - I can see why this is made fun of (fishing in a Sonic game) but if you aren't a nerd who hates the outdoors it is a fun fishing game.

If I was in charge of making SA3 I would make the gameplay similar to SA2 but include racing gameplay, a "weird" gameplay mode (like golf for example) and bring back Adventure Fields.

Both games are really bad and I don't understand how people can just flatly state otherwise. Awful cameras, terrible voice work and character models, piss fucking poor level design--they're bad games and would destroy Sega if they were released today. Get the fuck over your Nostalgia.

SA2 was bad. I played it earlier this year.

Like I thought SA1 was okay but SA2 was just awful. There's like a handful of good Sonic and Shadow stages and the rest is garbage.
