I like them. Lamers will frame them as babbys first post punk. I usually listen to the Substance compilation album

Decent band, but they get depressing quickly

They're pretty good. I remember the first time I listened to their albums, I was expecting something more alternative rock sounding, but especially their second album, sounded a lot like the shit that's always playing in the background when the goth kids on South Park make an appearance.

But they're still alright. Haven't listened to any of New Order though.

New Order is on point. it's more dance music than post-punk, but it's goddamn good. think of them as an upbeat, more melodic Depeche Mode

I find it pretty hard to say which is better than the other because theyre both 10/10 albums, but I might lean toward UP myself

Their two albums are absolute classic masterpieces. Everything came together in a perfect harmony - the alienation of Ian Curtis's lyrics, the heartbeat bass of Peter Hook driving each song, Stephen Morris's machine-esque timing on the drums, Bernand Summer's pterodactyl noise on the guitar, and Martin Hannet's skills in the studio plus his ear for music led to magic in the recording studio which led to something amazing and completely original.

No band has ever sounded like them before, but many have tried since.

They're great. Honestly have to thank MGSV for introducing me to them. Never heard a song until Love Will Tear Us Apart in that, but it was cool enough to make me want to check out more.

Great sound, wish Ian hadn't committed suicide but I recognize he was suffering.

EDIT: Anyone seen the biopic on him and the band, "Control?" It's definitely worth a watch.
