I just reached the Crew Quarters and I'm having a blast so far. It's nice playing a game that doesn't feel dumbed down at all. I love that you can build pretty much anything in the game. Even more Neuromods.

The atmosphere and the feeling of freedom is great. Usually games on a space ship are extremely linear. It actually feels like I'm trying to make my way through a spaceship.

Only downside is that the enemy design is a bit boring so far.

Not sure if I am gonna use more than the Morph Typhon mod. I like having the turrets on my side and sneak attack shotgun blasts have served me well.

That would have to be damn hard. Like you would barely be able to upgrade guns! I already feel stressed that I'm gonna screw myself over somehow haha.

How did you even do that? For me I had two corrupted operators in that section too. Thank god I had a stun gun. Wasted all of my ammo on them lol.

It's a good Halloween game. It can get really tense at times.

Always trying to figure out what that game is. Is it along the same lines as System Shock/Bioshock?

Yes. It's pretty similar.

You're stuck in a giant spaceship basically. There are enemies called Typhon around the place. You can find things called Neuromods that give your abilities that improve you character. You can also unlock Typhon Neuromods. They're a bit more sci-fi magical. You can transform into objects, use kinetic blasts etc. The cost here is that if you get too many Typhon abilities the ships security will start to recognize you as an enemy.

The game is really open. You can look for a keycard to open a door or you can find a small gap, transform into a cup and jump through it. You can find broken turrets and repair them to help you set up an ambush. But only if you have the right repair skills. There's a lot of stuff like that. You're rewarded for experimenting.

The game has a main plot to follow but as far as I know you can access places on the ship whenever you want if you find the right keycards or GUTS path. If you access Security Terminals you can even find a system that logs everyone who is still alive on the ship and you can mark a waypoint for them. No idea how many can be accessed easily.

You can also float around in space. It looks like everything is where it's supposed to be. It wouldn't surprise me if the interiors of the ship match the outside exactly and you can explore the entire thing.

is this the game that made another game change its name because it had "prey" in it?

That sounds like Bethesda. They already had the Prey trademark thanks to the 2006 game though so that would have happened regardless.

I built my character around sneak criticals. Hit and run tactics all day.
