Still the best show of all time. Best writing ever, best directing ever.

Next week will be the 20th anniversary of the classic "Halloween" episode from season 2. It's the very first episode of the show I watched, and I saw it live.

Right now I'm watching the season 4 double feature "This Year's Girl" and "Who Are You?". The first return of Faith. These episodes are pretty much perfection. The result of great character development over the previous and present years. And the payoff was amazing lol

I was on episode 9 of season 4 when they took it off Netflix. It really bummed me out.

It's up on Hulu now. You can get a couple free months when you sign up IIRC. Seasons 5 and 6 are fantastic, you wouldn't want to miss them.

Surprise
Innocence
Beginning 1+2
Dopplegangland
Hush
Bargaining 1+2
Once More with Feeling

But my most favorite was the season 5 episode Fool for Love, where Spike tells Buffy about the other slayers he's killed....watching Spike fight a 1970's black slayer with an Afro on a subway made my have to change my underwear...

That's part of why I like it. It feels more like an episode of Angel than an episode of Buffy (in fact, I'm pretty sure that's what Angel used as its template).

Yeah I think it certainly felt like an Angel episode. It certainly felt different from Buffy, but that was the point. Buffy herself was trying to move away from every routine she once had.

It's a shame Angel took so long to find itself. I feel like it didn't truly discover what it wanted to be until the end of season 2. Then again...Buffy took just as long (mid season 2), albeit with less episodes.

Prime Angel was almost as good as Prime Buffy though. Very close. But I'm probably being biased as I loved Buffy so much

Regarding Angel, I still laugh my ass off when Lindsey leaves W&H for good, they act almost amicably to each other, and yet Angel snuck a sign on the back of his truck that says "Cops Suck".

Cordelia really shined in Angel. I liked her in Buffy but she completely changed in Angel (as well as Angel did in his own show, and Wes for that matter)

I actually liked the Buffy comics way more then the show.

I actually felt that Angel was way more action heavy that Buffy. Maybe it was becauseit had more physical fighters on the Angel team, and the scooby gang just had...Buffy.

What ever happened at the end of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Last I remember Buffy was brought back from the dead and had sex with Spike, than Spike got his soul back through some random trial just to prove a point to Buffy, and suddenly felt guilt for being a bad person.
