like, is there any doubt in your mind that he's not 100% guilty?

i mean, i believe he totally did it, myself, but i still have this crazy feeling like this just can't be true, ok?

are you certain he did all these horrible things? is there any possibility he didn't?

He paid money to a victim. If he didn't do it there is ZERO REASON to pay anything to them under any circumstances (or even dignify them with a response in general).

Prior to his admission of drugging at least some of them, maybe.

Because the accusations are for events that took place so long ago, there is no physical evidence left of the crime. There are only the accusations. You can argue a lot of people made the accusations, but that doesn't change that there is no physical evidence, or that it's quite typical of lots of random people to jump aboard claims of sexual involvement with celebrities.

So this depends on if you believe someone should be declared guilty of something on testimonies alone.

I don't know why Cosby claimed he had consensual sex with someone that was drugged, even if true that's not something provable and doesn't help your image.

This isn't really true. There are times when a lawyer tells their client to just plead guilty even if they are innocent because proving they are innocent may be more trouble than admitting guilt and making "amends" (going to jail, paying the fine, etc.).

In Cosby's case the entire media was treating him as guilty, leading to a large portion of the populace to do the same, regardless of if he was innocent or not so it's possible he was just trying to show he was making amends even if he was innocent. It didn't matter if he he was guilty or not, because everyone believed he was guilty.

I still don't understand why people take rape accusations more seriously and at people's word when you wouldn't treat murder accusations that way. You want to ruin someone with no evidence? Accuse them of rape. Better yet get a few people to do it. People will treat them as guilty even of there is no physical evidence.

Usually there are only 3 reasons why people would confess to doing something:
1) They're protecting somebody else
2) They're crazy
3) They actually did it

Clearly he's not protecting somebody else, so that just leaves the other two reasons.

Because he was guilty and admitted as much. Are you dense?

It might be possible that not all of the women are being truthful, but yeah. There's zero doubt he's drugged several women and raped them. He's said as much.

I never liked Bill Cosby even before he was a confirmed rapist. I can see what his breakthrough success as an actor meant for black actors in TV and film, but his comedy was always banal as shit. And I do like a lot of those classic TV shows, but The Cosby Show, I'll never understand how that was so hugely popular. Never laughed once watching it.

willing to bet there was at least one false claim in there. some people are just vultures they see something like this and they latch on in hopes of getting something.

I wish it wasn't true. Not just for the victims sake but because The Cosby Show was so great it's a damn shame it's been tainted forever by this.

Anything's possible. He could transform into a unicorn and shoot glitter out of his butt, who knows?

This is an entirely different question. It's clear that he did it, there's too much evidence and too many victims for this to be a mix up of any kind, so no, there's no doubt in my mind.
