You order a drink by its proper name or modifiers in the official order and it confuses them. They have stickers that print to put on the cups instead of having to call drinks or write the correct codes on the side. They dont give legendary customer service anymoresmall talk or making you feel special, etc.

The super special Starbucks Reserve bar feels like a normal store used to feel like back in the day.

They probably dont even do coffee tastings anymore.

My favorite was getting into an argument with someone on Gfaqs about how cappuccinos are often served with cinnamon. The user kept swearing no one ever does that, and has never heard of it and was the "wrong" way to drink it etc etc

The user swore he knew cause he worked at a "real coffee bar". After realizing his mistake, he said that's not how they do it at his "coffee bar"... starbucks lol

I go to a local coffee place that i literally walk in and they know what to make, cute girls too

Yeah. You can sit at the bar and the employees will chat, experiment with different coffee tastings/combinations and offer for you to try it, and so on.
