My co worker just started 3 days ago, and supposedly already mined a coin worth $300. It was a dash coin. He mined it with his phone.

Is this legit? How do I get in on this? My computer is strong enough.

I used both my cpu and gpu. I mined whichever coin was most efficient, still maxed out at 15 cents an hour. Since mining renders your pc unusable I did it when I slept and worked.

Yeah that's what I would do. I can only use my for about 4-5 hours per day, during the week. Just sits idle otherwise.

Your computer could overheat if your cooling systems sucks or your room is hot. But that won't break anything it'll just shut off abruptly.

I'm testing out MinerGate site. Started mining Dash and Monero an hour ago and I've earned an incredible $0.00249331. By 3pm, I'll have a tasty penny. lol

Granted I'm doing it from a Macbook Pro so it won't be but so great. On the up side, the Macbook is a work laptop and I'm mining at work so at least there's no cost associated with it.
