Is it just a bad time in the year to get a first job as a programmer(because I tried to apply to countless places and I have nobody who call me back except one place....that happens to be 3 hours from my home in car) I am looking for an internship and my school doesn't offer any possibilities in that website anymore(I promised my old employer to stay one last month at my job and I was too slow to apply). I barely have any money in my bank account anymore and I am starting to stress out.

So what do you guys recommend for improving my chances to get hired? I really want, but employers trust more employees with experience(that will ditch their jobs, they should not cry if their employees ditch it after and they suffer the same fate). I got one interview where I had the weird "you seem buffed for a programmer" and I was like "wtf".
