Like, who is paying for this bile? It is a bunch of low-effort shit aimed at 12 year olds. Like, they pump millions of dollars into this stuff, and it still manages to feel campy and low-budget. Example:

isnt their original content just youtubers not doing their main stuff?

Or this one. Could they have come up with anything more generic, trite, and dripping with teen angst? It is so cringey. It literally feels like a joke/parody movie.

I have YouTube Red but never watch any of the content, I have it solely for the other benefits like ad free viewing on all devices but my favorite content creators still getting supported (a YouTube Red view pays more than a standard view as well I believe), being able to play videos in the background on mobile, and Google Play Music.
So I really hope the service doesn't go under, just that they don't waste much money on original programming. --- "You need to lay off the peanut-butthurt and u-jelly sandwiches" - Neon Octopus ... Copied to Clipboard!

How can I play music in the background on my Android? They patched out being able to do it through the browser and a certain off the Play Store app that gave the feature got sent a cease and desist and hasn't updated it. How can I get Google Play Music for free? With YT screwing most of the people I watch, I'd rather support them outside the site than paying for YT Red. Not that I'd actually pay a YouTuber or Twitch streamer directly, mind you.

This. There honestly isn't a better service out there. I can find albums there that aren't even on YouTube. And their recommended music/radio stations are usually spot-on.
