I get in the other lane to attempt to pass because I want to go the speed limit

as I try to pass he speeds up

I speed up even more and get in front of him

he remains sped up and gets on my tail upset and gets over to pass me and get in front of me

cycle repeats as he is now content being the "first in line" and drops his speed below the speed limit

Any main road here in my area of FL is multi-lane. People just suddenly jerk across multiple lanes without signalling, and half the time without looking either, especially in season. Lots of rich retirees that think it's the job of the 'peasants' around them on the road to pay attention for them. General accidents and even hit-and-runs where they leave someone dying in the road increase then.

Then when you try to do the decent thing and signal and pay attention to your surroundings, 90% of the time people move to block you then just pace you there in traffic when they see it.
