Even EA had the god damn decency to do minor insignificant fixes to Andromeda.

The PSN store as accessed by the PS3 can work if you try really hard. If you are okay with rebooting it seven times and waiting 20 min, you can eventually make a purchase.

But why the fuck is that okay. I get you can just buy shit from the browser version, but this is the product Sony is okay with representing the PS3 console. It's at best barely functional and that's a stretch already. I don't understand why making complete garbage and leaving it at that is a thing. This is a thing that should work for PS3 users who would prefer to or for some reason don't have a computer to access the store from and it's just an unacceptably laggy, broken nightmare. Yeah, the PS3 is a dead system hardi-har-har. So what? You're still selling shit from the store so it should work. This also isn't a new issue, It dates from before or just after the PS4 release at least.

Funny thing is it was functional back when it was a bunch of blue boxes. I mean sure it wasn't very pretty but it fucking worked and was reasonably fast.

Then they updated it to look like an Apple designer's wet dream and it's fucking slow as fuck and you have to reset the Playstation to do anything when you exit it.
