Huh? Since skipping it didn't change anything even as day progressed to night and day again, I thought I'd have to do something else to trigger the next scene. So that's why I closed the game. Buuuuuuuut apparently I'm not supposed to do that either. >_>

I've been interested in this because I like weird/fucked up horror-ish stories, but I'm absolutely computer illiterate. Does it require you to know how/when to do stuff to the game's files?

It kinda does, but my advice is unless the game makes it very explicit, don't do it.

1. Well...I would say yes (as in it would be wrong) since while it plays a big part and they handle it quite well, it's not really the underlying message.

what are you guys counting as one route? the first end screen? the one after Sayori's confession?

that took me ~45 min. but until the screen with just Monika took like 2 hours i think. text at fastest.

I meant my entire playtime was 2.5 hours, from start to the credits.

i probably took an inefficient way to getting all the CGs and left it idle a fair amount so that added a lot more time than necessary the second time through.

Yeah I kept save-scumming the poems so I wasn't efficient either

My first run through, I wanted as close to perfect Sayori poems as I could get because I wasn't sure if it made a difference and I wanted to make her happy...

Beated the game myself.

I must say, I REALLY didn't expect the very end of it despite having some parts of the game already spoiled prior. Mainly, when Sayori breaks the 4th wall. That was pretty great.

I also laughed when saw Natsuki vomiting because that's from a meme reaction pic right there!

wait when people were saying there are different endings I thought they meant, like, the 2-3-ish times you go through in the course of the story

there's really OTHER stuff? I haven't even run the game again because I thought they broke it unless you reinstall, lol

You actually just need to delete the firstrun file in the game folder and then when you start it back up it'll ask if you want to delete your save data, which you say yes, and it'll start over.

There's only 1 alternate ending and it involves you save scumming to get all of the CGs before Sayori kills herself.
