Never be afraid to stand up for social justice. Never be afraid to stand up for what's right. They'll mock you for it; don't listen to them. They'll put peer pressure on you to get you to stand down; don't conform to them. It isn't right, what they believe.

Don't ever be ashamed! Don't even be embarrassed! Many great men and women throughout history have fought for justice, from John F. Kennedy to Martin Luther King to Pope John Paul II, and many more! Stand up for the people in this world who are disadvantaged or oppressed, from the transgenders who are loathed, to the Muslims who are looked on fearfully, to the homeless and the poor of every race, ethnicity, and walk of life who live one paycheck away from the streets -- or worse.

Believe in diversity and multiculturalism! Believe in a global community and the power of human beings to come together! Believe in love, and in friendship, and all the other positive things in life we think are hokey. No, this isn't a troll post, and what does it say about the culture of this place that it will be assumed to be one? Believe in things that are good, and never be ashamed of it. Others may deride you for it, but whoever you are, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and their arrows will bounce right off of you.

There is so much beauty in this universe... If only each of us would sow seeds of kindness instead of trying to tear our neighbors down, how much better would our world be? Never be afraid to stand up for social justice. It's one of the few ways things have ever gotten better.

The problem is "social justice" doesn't mean anything, it's just a vague buzzword and the people who use it often seem to be against equality and believe distasteful often violent aggressive opinions and act like their beliefs are justified because of semantic wording like Social Justice or Struggle or Oppression.

You will find if you simply say you support equality for gay rights, no discrimination based on race, womens rights to their own body etc. Most people actually agree with you.

But when you stand next to the people who say police should avoid black streets, we should bring back segregation, women should be given money they didn't earn, black people shouldn't pay taxes, hispanics who ommit crimes shouldn't go to prison etc and then both you and the guy you're standing next to say you're fighting for social justice, you're going to hit opposition.

It's like those guys who claim to be satanists and then just go "Oh I mean Randian LaVeyan Satanism of just being nice to people."

Wouldn't you first need to make the case that tribalism, which has vaulted humanity through its entire existence to its current point, is not only "not necessary" but also "inherently bad"? You just said it's human nature to cluster, so wouldn't "overcoming tribalism" be like trying to overcome our desire to eat?

I wouldn't say it's caused by racism but more by people naturally preferring to be around their own race, then within that race preferring to be around their ethnic group, and finally cultural group which is usually their ethnic group.

This is just how people are so it's hard to call it racism if it's unconscious bias. As long as there are differences there will be social conflict and division in diverse countries.

Originally it was a good thing, now it's just a buzz word often phrased as SJW to describe the extremists on the left.

This is just how people are so it's hard to call it racism if it's unconscious bias. As long as there are differences there will be social conflict and division in diverse countries.

@NINExATExSEVEN, I don't understand how you can be so anti-diversity when you yourself are a product of it. :\ You're literally arguing against a society where you can be comfortable. In Japan, a mostly homogeneous society, even people who are half-Japanese and half-Korean are looked down upon. Do you consider that good or fair?

I'm not ant-diversity because like you said i'm a product of it. I appreciate diversity in America, Canada and Australia since those countries started off as diverse and only grew more diverse.

What i am againt though is non European diversiy in Europe because those countries are homogeneous and have thousands of years of culture and identity that could be eroded by mass immigration.

But to fair i'm not againt non European diversiy completely either, i just realize that the way it's implemented right now is very flawed. People are coming in extraordinary numbers and not assimilating enough or many times at all. Especially the Muslim populations.

If people would be able to assimilate quickly and add the positive parts of their culture to the bigger culture while discarding the bad, I would love it honestly. That would be nice.

But for me today's version of diversity just feels like an attack on Europe's culture and identity. I hope that changes.
