i beat 1, then for #2 I got lost somewhere on the map, had no idea what to do, and stopped playing.

but i got the urge to kill things again and i guess my save was deleted somehow so here i am starting from the beginning.

this game is good but goddamn cant these NPCs ever fetch their own shit?

i love loot boxes with $2 in them

I used cheat engine to boost the awful drop rates the last time I went back to 2.

I replayed it not long ago, I think I switched weapons every fifth level or so.
Felt like you got pretty much the same gun all the time with no big variation.
I hope you got the DLCs.

I never did finish BL2. I played it for a while with aether, I haven't played it since then. I'm thinking I'd have to make a new character cause I have no idea what I'd be doing if I fired it back up.

I'd ask the inevitable question of "What platform are you playing on?", but if I'm going to be completely honest it doesn't really matter because I shun most online multiplayer anyway, so I'm never really going to follow up and offer to play with you even if we're on the same platform.

That being said, someday I really need to get back to the game and keep leveling my main to level 70. Or at least high enough to have a reasonable shot at beating the raid boss, because that's pretty much the only thing keeping me from having 100%ed the game.

So uh is the only purpose of the vending machines in this game to sell guns and shields youve hoarded? because ive never seen i dont think a gun or shield i actually could use(also in BL1) from one, so all i do is dump my weapon hoard to make money. Sometimes the ammo and health machines are useful, but really its just convenience of being near one with cheap ammo not feeling like picking up loot, and not wanting to wait for my health to refill.

You can definitely find good gear in vending machines. For weapons I'd just check the special deal thing to see if it's high rarity, but even green shields and class mods can be awesome so they're worth looking at whenever you pass by.

occasionally there will be something worth buying, but not very often

you do eventually have to buy lots of ammo and it gets pretty expensive. (depends on the weapon though, since some are designed to have relatively low ammo (snipers))

I forget just how bad the drop rates for orange/pearls are in 2, but you can see what they are if you use that table in cheat engine. I played most of my time with vanilla drop rates, but can't see playing it with them anymore. I was glad they gave you places to farm specific guns, but when you kill the same boss 20 times and not only don't get what you're after, but nothing else of value, it gets super frustrating.

This was 6 days ago and in that time, I uninstalled it XD I think once I upgrade my PC I'll pick up a bunch more games to play.
