Point conceded. Upon further review, Glim was the "only sane man" trope instead.

The "big bad" wasn't even plot-relevant. At all.
Also it all came off as a knockoff of Marvel's Onslaught saga from the mid 90s, compressed into about 88 minutes.

I, uh, actually found the finale entertaining, for what it is. The fanrage seems to be a very vocal minority.

Haven't seen the movie. Will do so when it pops up on netflix, probably around february.

I'm pretty embarrassed. I stared at the picture for a good 60 seconds trying to find something really wrong. I totally expected them all to be a lot fatter and even more lame and cringe-beardy. Then I kinda realized OP was going for the fact there's no little girls.. pretty sad lol.

Is this the reason they're so dead now? Man, I remember when it was damn near impossible to get into a movie on opening night. Now theaters are dead. Kinda sad.

I really think so, yes.

The industry killed itself by overpricing, and ended up utterly gutted by pirates and patience.
Piratebay has shitty cams and even 4k (sometimes 8k) leaks a week ahead of time now, and the DVD window is down to a couple months in some instances.

I live in NYC. Theatres cost $25 for iMAX for 1 adult. Don't know about kids prices. I usually buy matinee showings, which are $17. Plus I buy via the internet so that's $2.25 service fee. In total $19.44.

Source: I bought a ticket to see Blade Runner this Sunday.

Summary

Subtotal: $19.44

Total Amount: $19.44

lol don't kid yourself. You're watching a cartoon made for 7 year old girls x'D. What a joke hahaha.

On a serious note though, there really isn't anyone in the theatres for MLP (according to a user earlier in the topic that actually went)

I live in Kansas City. Just showing up and buying a ticket is eleven or twelve bucks. All the crappy cheap theaters got bought out or disappeared.
I'm surprised The Twin in Independence still exists. It may well be the last drive-in there is.

Which is sad to be honest. You can say the same thing for shopping malls. When I was a kid, it was so much fun going to the mall cause there were so many people. Nowadays, everyone and their mother is buying stuff online. The malls are worse than going to a hollowed out Walmart.
I don't get online shopping for clothes though. I just don't want the hassle of returning stuff that doesn't fit me but since malls are closing and Macy is having fewer and fewer selection of clothes, really don't know what to do.
One time I went into Macys to get a hat. Nothing too fancy, just a hat. I walked through the whole Men's floor to find only 2 hats which were collecting dust. Target has more generic brands of clothing but who would want that.
Kind of a rant but I miss the late 90s days. Everything seems to be bright and business was booming all around. Nowadays, people are stuck in their phones and everything is god damn expensive.

I don't expect to be, for much longer. They charge way too much for the same Chinese or Bangladeshi crap Walmart sells for cheap.
