Not when they're NFL players disrespecting America. Trump has better things to worry about than a commonwealth or whatever it is.

The US government has no interest in Puerto Rico's people, they want the land, so the hurricanes fucking the place up is an opportunity to put certain things in place to take the land from those people and give it more suitable US citizens. I mean, the most Trump has said on the matter is that PR is full of bad infrastructure and doesn't pay their huge debts, something that kept them from statehood officially while Obama was in office.

1. Maybe he does actually care on some level
2. Makes him look good if he helps
3. On the slight chance they become a state before the 2020 elections...could increase his chances of getting their vote
4. They are a US territory remember

Puerto Ricans are by law natural-born citizens of the United States and may move freely between the island and the mainland.[23]

The United States Congress legislates over many fundamental aspects of Puerto Rican life, including citizenship, the currency, the postal service, foreign policy, military defense, communications, labor relations, the environment, commerce, finance, health and welfare, and many others."[92]

To me, the above means that U.S. has a responsibility to help Puerto Rico during this time of disaster.

But do they vote though?

I'm not sure why you are stuck on the notion of their voting status and why you think it's related to receiving aid during a disaster.

At the very least, we should be wanting to help people because they are people in need.

how can the GOP congress think about helping people in need when they might be in need of campaign donations in the coming election?

I wasn't sure if you could out-dumb your previous statement. I was wrong. That might be the dumbest thing you've posted in this topic so far.

I think you taking this topic serious is the dumbest thing in here.

Oh, very true. We all know that the next political campaign is of the highest importance.

much, much higher than human life, especially if brown people are involved because they're only 60% people after all.

keep in mind that infamousACE and i are both facetiously mocking the fundamentally evil and self-serving behavior of the GOP-led government, not just me
