Francia is a model and actress who is best known for her role on the Secret Life Of The American Teenager as the duo have been best friends since 2008 when they met at a Disney and ABC Family charity event for Children's Hospital!! The BFFs have been inseperable since as Francia praised tribute to their bond Francia wrote on her instagram "I am so grateful that God put you in my life when he did. If you think about the time that we met and where we were in our lives when we first hung out, his timing was perfect. It's been so inspiring watching you grow and to grow with you"... She described Selena as her sister and how close they were as they went through hard times and breaks up together as she considers her "family" She said "The only thing i want you to know is how much i value YOU. You are more than you realize. I love you" Both friends have publicly supported each other's projects and have been there for each other ever since. Francia has had a successful career in film and tv as she's appeared in Dear White People and Bring It On and soon to appear on the spin off of Black-ish called Grown-ish. She posted a picture of her side by side in a hospital bed while clutching hands as Selena wrote "She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me. I am incredibly blessed. I love you so much sis. Lupus continues to be very misunderstood but progress is being made" Selena has been vocal about her autoimmune disease as she announced plans to donate proceeds from ticket sales of her Revival tour to Alliance for Lupus Research. Backsteet Boys Howie D's sister died from Lupus as he dedicated his life to raise awareness of the disease and how it is life threatening. Would you ever donate a kidney to someone you loved?
