This one felt like it had surprisingly few supporting characters. It's basically just Maui, Moana and the rooster with a brain that doesn't function. By the end of the movie Moana is quite possibly the only friend he has ever had in his incredibly long life. This is part of why I would love a Maui prequel. I want to see him from his origins to the point where Moana begins.
