Diet soda actually makes people as fat as sugar, apparently. Things like stevia extract don't, but the chemical additives do. I always roll my eyes when I see somebody order a Baconator with a diet soda. It makes me think of that Simpsons episode where the fat lady is using that ab roller and taking a bite out of a cake... "this is mah re-ward!"

Is there anyone here who likes the taste of diet soft drinks?

Its funny, when i google MSG I immediately get information on why it's bad for me, but when I dig deeper it turns out nobody can has been able to reproduce the supposed negative effects that led to outcry against it and it's now considered safe again.

Same deal with HFCS. Sure, if you have a problem absorbing fructose you will obviously have negative effects, but if you have a problem absorbing fructose you have bad genetics and nobody should cater to you because we don't want those awful genes passed on.

It makes me think of that Simpsons episode where the fat lady is using that ab roller and taking a bite out of a cake... "this is mah re-ward!"
