Born months premature (he was expected towards the end of the year) and weighing only around a pound. So early a name wasn't even decided on yet.

And of course as a loving brother and uncle, my first thought was that I didn't get enough time to find my own place after I got stuck living with family. If things go well, this place will have the usual baby issues like crying at all hours.

I love my family, but being aware of the kid coming, I've been trying to find a new place after I ended up with family (last flatmate basically ****ed me over and I only had a couple of weeks to get into another place). I really don't like little kids.

Me being out would also have meant more rooms available when / if the kid gets here (full furnishings from my last place, got rid of some bigger items like TV cabinet and couch, but still got two bedrooms and some shed space of stuff cluttering up this place).

I wouldn't be having kids while living at my parents house. With that said I know it's not a choice at times and I hope the little guy pulls through.

That kid will live at the hospital until around his due date anyway.

So that gives you plenty of time to figure things out.
