I do not deny life becoming very challenging with kids and some of my fellow adult leaders, Scouts parents, and cousins are already dreading the junior high and high school drama that is yet to come. But when I see the amount of effort some of these parents put into giving their sons and daughters an enriching childhood I am sure they are still enjoying themselves. Why put in so much time for your children if you're just gonna view them as the lows of your life? As for multiple marriages, I'll admit the 50% divorce rate among the United States is demoralizing. On the flip side, all my aunts and uncles have been married for 30-40+ years.
