I loved the first Cars :<
Was Cars 3 bad? I didn't see it.

I know it's popular but Bug's life never really sat well with me.
And does Coco count? that movie looks like a discount Book of Life mixed with Kubo. bleh

I had a few small issues with the climax, but it was a decent end to the trilogy. In fact I would actually be ok with a 4th that explored the ending a bit.

Not knocking the book of life, because that movie was pretty great, but coco looks pretty great so far. Will give it a chance in theatres.

Not including sequels, Ratatouille.

So bland with the same generic message.

You know people were pressuring me to do something I didn't like but then I watched every Disney movie since 2000 and changed my mind.

I know I'm in the extreme minority, but Inside Out is my least favorite. I haven't seen The Good Dinosaur though. Never liked Cars, and I dislike Toy Story 1 for its awful graphics, skipped 2, was ok with 3.

Inside Out was just boring. The emotions had so many opportunities to return the memory, but simply didn't. It never explained Sadness's sudden compulsion to turn all the memories sad. It felt like it was going to build up to Joy accepting that she needs to let the others have control sometimes to balance things out, but nope. There wasn't really any threat, not to Reilly or the emotions, the entire movie was basically "Girl is sad for a bit" that's all. There's no indication that the emotions could be deleted/forgotten. Plus, the emotions have emotions of their own... If there was ever any characters that should be one dimensional, it's these, and they fail at it. Joy says she can't turn the memory back from being sad, yet later we see her swapping it between both out of boredom, as if she had control of the sadness as well. Joy caused more harm than good by being overbearing and controlling, and not even considering listening to sadness.

I kept waiting for the hook, for things to get interesting, but it never came. The movie was over before it built any connection at all, and just fell flat for me.

I think of Ratatouille as the most underrated movie Pixar has
The art, music, and story was beautiful
I cannot get enough of the song Le Festin, this movie was a true art and far from bland :p

Out of the ones I've seen, probably A Bug's Life. I'm not a fan of the Toy Story series either, although I've only seen 1 and parts of 2.

Granted, A Bug's Life was one of their earliest works and before they started partnering with Disney, so it's only natural it'd suck.

Probably Brave since I think that they switched stories midway through. More to the point, I really kinda feel like it was a bit cliche'd in that it's the rebellious princess who is better than the dudes being forced into marriage and what-not and I REALLY feel like they should have gone an entirely different route.

Cars 1 wasn't THAT bad. It was a basic 'don't get too full of yourself, don't focus on just awards and achievements, learn to appreciate life' kind of deal with a pretty good ending (a strong display of sportsmanship, good will, and positive character putting Lightning in third but making him the run-away star).

Personally I'd say that the Planes: Fire & Rescue one is the worst though, because... Dusty doesn't suffer. He joined the brigade while hiding up a fatal defect that could not only put his life, but the lives of his team in danger. His refusal to come forth keeps him from from helping as much as he could and, in doing so, putting the lives of civilians in danger. When he finally goes in to risk his life and ends up crashing, his defect exposed, he doesn't just walk away hurt, his friends being hurt because he didn't trust them enough to tell the truth, or anything else or even died. I could have respected the movie at least a little if it had done that. Instead he walks out BETTER than he was when he entered. If Dusty had JUST SWALLOWED HIS PRIDE and told the truth he would have had a proper thingy, been functioning at peak capacity and probably done a lot better during training, and things would have been much better.

planes and planes fire and rescue were actually done by disney toon studios, not pixar. Disney toon studios was the sequel company in charge of making all the direct to video sequels. When pixar and disney merged Lasseter ended production on all their sequel projects and turned them into a kind of toy promotion movie studio. They now handle the planes series and the tinkerbell series.
