thecolorgreen 07/16/17 9:11:59 PM #11:	The card will only work as hard as it needs to. So if you have vsync on it will use less power (less heat) as it only has to render 60 frames a second. Lokarin 07/16/17 10:16:09 PM #12:	Ok, I got SpeedFan to check something out. Looks like even though my GPU Fan can get up to 6500 RPM, it refuses to go above 2000. Sahuagin 07/16/17 10:33:14 PM #20:	probably the fan is not spinning. check for airflow from the rear vent. you may have disconnected the fan's power cable or as you said jammed it. check that a cable is not physically obstructing it from spinning. If you've got constant AC and you're overheating, you've either cranked settings up too high (you'd see low framerates if that were the case) or indeed something is wrong with the card.
