Who's dumping who, in the where, now? I'm already talking to my ex, I'm not concerned about her dumping me at this point, and the other girl I'm fucking is well aware of my ex's existence.

I came into this topic to say "I'd either be deliriously happy or would become incredibly disillusioned depending on whether or not things worked out", so you can pretty much use both of those to answer your questions.

If you finally started dating the girl I loved, I'd be deliriously happy. But then if she turned out to be a jealous bitch who constantly gave me grief I'd grow incredibly disillusioned with the whole scenario and probably stop loving her pretty quickly. And then there'd eventually be a heated argument that basically boiled down to "Cut it the fuck out or get the fuck out."

Especially if she started trying to use emotional manipulation on me as a means of control, because that's always been one of my huge pet peeves, and I call bullshit on it super-fast when it happens. I've straight up ended relationships over it (and the phrase "Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out" was used).

This is the point where your entire tree of hypotheticals falls apart for me (not that you meant it seriously anyway), because I fucking LOATHE the entire idea of adultery, and would never do it. I've actually cut people out of my life for cheating on other people that I didn't even know.

If I was ever in a relationship that was broken enough that I felt the need to seek emotional or physical gratification outside of the relationship, I'd just end the relationship. I have more than enough self-worth that I don't need to cling to a toxic relationship out of a need for validation or fear of "dying alone". I've always been perfectly content with the idea of dying alone, because I've always enjoyed solitude and hated most people anyway. So when I'm with someone who can actually make me feel happier than I am when I'm alone, that's great. But if the relationship itself is making me miserable, then it's time to tear it all down and start over.
