Is it easy for a newcomer to get into though? With Destiny 2, I'll be on an even ground for the most part(I'll be a little behind because I never played the first one).

It is really easy to get into ff xiv, the game is made to be inviting for new players.

But they are 2 very different styles of gameplay lol

Even tho destiny 2 isn't out yet I can say with 100% confidence you will get so much more content out of ff xiv.

Doubly so if Destiny 2 repeats its predecessor so hard that, for every person who falls for it, "Fool me once shame on you; fool me twice shame on me" becomes all too true. Meanwhile ffxiv is constantly adding content every few months or so, even if the new content can be knocked out in a day or three (not counting luck-based drops). <_<

I unfortunately lost the PC in the separation. Going to either build another one this Cyber Monday, or might wait until next year if the furniture and the baby stuff end up costing too much.

Btw, how much is FFXIV going to cost me with all the expansions and stuff? Is there a cheap bundle, or is it better to make sure I like the game first and get the expansions one by one?

Free until level 35 on ps4 too.

Maybe play just the base game (free trial), see if you like it and then grab the game and at least Heavensward (first expansion).

Base game is $20 and I know storm blood is $40 but it just came out last month.

you can get the base game for $5- $10 when it's on sale. Don't buy heavensward, because stormblood comes with it.


You have to have heavensward to play stormblood. And you have to beat the main game to get to heavensward and beat heavensward to play stormblood.

for ps4 you can buy the complete edition for $60

I just found out that PSO2 is on the PS4. Is that game as good as PSO Ep.I&II for the GCN?
