It's only worth it if you have an entire room dedicated for it, a ventilation system for said room, then enough money to actually fill up the room with equipment to make it a realistic source of income.

There are far more richer and dedicated people who already do this...

Cryptocurrency as we know it will probably collapse at the mention of quantum computers becoming a thing. Even if it doesn't work that way, when faith goes the value of the Bitcoin does too. It's not a business to get into, but it might be good for a quick buck right now.

Bitcoin mining is so inefficient that I wouldn't even bother.

However, definitely invest in bitcoin, the price is only going to keep going up and up as they become harder to find.

Once upon a time (like, 3-5yrs ago), yes but now it's not very cost effective unless you do it on a massive scale.
Treat it like stocks-set up an account with a bank that lets you manage in BC and make regular deposits then buy low/sell high etc.
The taxation laws haven't quite caught up yet in that same way it applies with regular currency trading to take advantage while you can.

Finally found a reputable litecoin trading site that operates in the us (I do not recommend coinbase, do not use coinbase!)

Has no one in this thread heard of fuxking mining pools? Yeah your shity single gpu rig can't compete solo. So let the big guys find the coin and take a cut. Unless your willing to spend thousands on a proper mining rig solo just isn't worth it. Now if you excuse me I'm gonna go watch the eth tickers.
