Just generally you want the subject of the tattoos facing in a direction that follows your body's center for flow and aesthetics, especially if you're going to be building many pieces around it. From the picture it looked more like it was closer to the middle of your shin facing out which would look really off. The fireballs wrap around my wrist/ankle. At Mario's back is a 8-bit Link from Zelda II kneeling and blocking the fireballs with his shield. Like a tattoo bracelet. --- I love the Power Glove.
