No but I've had it happen to me. I asked some girl to the dance in 8th grade and she laughed and thought I was joking because I was on crutches. I ended up actually going while still on crutches and one of her friends came up and apologized. Years later, like sophomore year of college she sent me a long facebook message apologizing. I didn't see it right away so I ended up never responding, always felt bad about that.

Same here. Anyone I no longer speak to is due to simply growing apart. Not due to some sort of fight or because I did something shitty to them. So if we ever started talking again it would just be about catching up and getting to know each other again. There wouldn't be a need to clear the air with an apology.

Nope. Usually apologize immediately, at worst a day or two.

Typically I'm waiting for the other person to apologize though most can go fuck themselves.

No, either I try to make things right as soon as possible or I have nothing to apologize for in the major fallings out I've had (and so far I've been 1000% in the right on all of them). No middle ground.

I've had some people apologize to me after years, though. One guy who spread some vicious lies about me, which he believed were true and others believed - thing is, he had schizophrenia. Another flaked out on me at the wrong time, blamed me, later apologized.

Kinda. When you get busy with life and responsibilities you forget to return calls or visit.

Growing away from someone because your lives take different paths is usually both ways. You just drift away from one another and don't notice.
