What do you think?

2 weeks ago I ordered a dvd boxset from walmart. A week later, I got a confirmation that it arrived, it hadn't arrived. I live in an apartment complex, it's a little shady but rent's expensive as hell so it's not too bad. I got a fedex door tag that said the package was delivered to the apartment office and I got an email that it was in the storage locker system. I never used it before, but typed the code in and it was empty. "Oh, I thought and called the locker company, they immediately blamed it on FedEx.

"Oh," I thought again and called FedEx. They didn't know where the package was and now said it would be delivered the next day and they opened up a lost claim or whatever. So after memorial day, I got a voicemail that said the investigation was closed because the package had been delivered to my front door that first day they left the door tag. I called fedex and got pretty peeved at the tech support when they told me to take it up with wal mart. At least wal mart was pretty quick at getting a refund, but wtf. They definitely lied about delivering it at least in some regard. I'm not saying it's not possible someone stole it, but there was only like a 3 hour window the package was alone and I live on the fourth floor. This jackass that lives below me constantly has parcels waiting by his door, for days at a time I've seen them.

Protip: Get a PO box and have them deliver to that. They shouldn't ever get lost or stolen again.

And as a couple of added bonuses, you don't have to give your address out ever. If you move, you don't have to worry about making sure all your mailing addresses are changed, just do the ones you remember and your PO Box will forward the rest to you if you forgot, assuming you moved away from that PO Box. They are also pretty cheap.

at least walmart refunded you. That would have sucked if you were out, that money that you paid for it

yeah it wasn't fedex that was the issue.

it was whoever's job it was to put it in the "Storage locker room"
and by that, they meant their house.
