Just a little speaking of the mind

Anyway, I'm one of those people who think that brining a kid into this fucked up world is not something I want. However I remember that if I wasn't brought into this world I would never have experienced anything, even the great parts about life

Because of this I'm on the fence on whether or not I want to adopt or have biological kids of my own, or even both. my fear with both though is I feel like the adopted child might think I'm "closer" to the biological one sometime in life.

Ugh why is life like this. One side of me wants my own while the other says there's somebody out there that just needs a good parent/s

Ok That's it for now but this is a topic I would expect from my boi @MrMelodramatic

The previous pastor of my church had an adopted son, and a biological daughter. Both he and his wife said they were actually closer to and more affectionate towards the son than their own daughter.

I don't have kids because I know I would be a terrible parent. If they didn't die by the time they turned 5, they would grow to hate me by the time they are teenagers. However, I do find it funny when people say they don't want to bring up a kid in this world. Things are easier now more so then they have ever been. Hell, when I was a kid I had to spend at least 6 years in school learning how to write by hand. Less then 100 years ago most people had to dig a hole outside whenever they wanted to shit. No one who is born from here on out will ever have to worry about either of those things.

Adopt, don't have kids, the world is populated with enough humans and there are plenty who are not being loved/cared for already.

Unless you have some deep need to continue your biological traits or something, adopt a child who would not have a good family otherwise (especially older children so they don't have to live in foster care etc).

It'll also be far more comfortable for your wife/gf etc (if you have one).
