I want to say yes, but I'm not sure. original mac had games, but mouse games? I don't know if they were complex enough for that, but I also didn't play enough of them to know for sure.

sure took way too long to finally have mouse look as a normal control scheme.

Oh yeah; I've always associated them with gaming. My introduction to the keyboard was with the TI-99/4A, which was our gaming machine. And those games made liberal use of both the keyboard and joystick.

The first mouse I used was on a Macintosh Plus, and basically the only thing I ever did on that was play games - one of them being The Manhole, which is a point-and-click game.

That is because they wanted people to buy and play the game even if they do not have a controller.

Sure, keyboards have been used for gaming on computers since the beginning, but the vast majority of computer games during the 1970's were all text based.
