Im sure a lot of people have thought of this, so the question was more of a lure :P haha. But ehm, but are there any rule sets or tests of this?

I mean, Chess, for many, is pretty interesting because of the almost unlimited ways a tactic can be formed (i think), yet still in a very limited mechanic - what would happen if you brought a random element into this? Like a 20-sided dice - giving rules to what a piece needs to defeat the opposing piece

This would be a bad idea in a competition, but for entertainment purposes, like a game of Monopoly, have anyone tried this?

It sounds pretty cool in my head at least :P
