There's no way you get any kind of accomplishment from a victory like that, right?

I just started playing Injustice 2 online today and already I've encountered like 3 guys playing as Deadshot just spamming bullets. I just don't get it, where's the fun?

One of things I love about Hakumen, nullifying projectiles to feed my meter and reverse their zoning onto them. Nu/Lambda players that just sit back and spam til my meter is full then get wrecked in one combo are the best

Some do it because it's easy and newer players typically don't know how to deal with it reliably at first.

Some do it because they aren't actually spamming and are intentionally dictating where and how you can move.

Funnily enough they nerfed zoners and fireball characters to oblivion in SFV, it's funny how you see non-zoning character players whine about Deadshot in I2 while you see Ryu/Ken/Akuma mains demanding buffs in SFV.

My favorite was Sentinel in MvC3

"Press Circle to spam beams that chip pretty well"

Of course you could just high jump and beat him up afterwards, but so many people didn't do that.

That's why I like playing as Supergirl. Projectile spam me? Teleport punch + combo. Repeat.

at least tekken only has a few characters with them (item moves withstanding)

Honestly, if you can't handle somebody zoning you out for an entire match you deserve the loss.

It isn't hard to counter.

Pretty much this. In my favorite fighting games (Necrid in Soul Calibur 2, Ezio Auditore in Soul Calibur 5, and Mewtwo/Corrin in Smash Bros. 4), I main characters that can use both melee and projectile attacks. I use the projectiles to limit where the enemy can or will try to move as a set up for my melee combos.

But projectiles are also pretty spammable and can let newbies get easy wins on other newbies that haven't figured out how to get past them.
