Well my brother's over there now, sounds like my dad's pretty chipper now at least and they're just watching netflix together now.

I like Vaan more outside of his own game as well.

He's still considered to be really good in Record Keeper and is among the mainstays in my main party.

He was also good early on in Brave Exvius as well.

And I found him pretty fun to play as in Dissidia.

Granted, none of those have anything to do with his actual character.

sometimes it bumps every 12 hours, sometimes it doesnt bump for days

well I added a 12-hour check because of the not bumping to days part

Basically it checks twice a day, 3am/pm, and if the last post reads "1 day ago" in the timestamp, it makes a bump. Problem being, if it constantly bumps only at the same time then it'll basically be always reading at *around* 3am, so it might've checked as 23 hours and 58 minutes passed or whatever which is what lead to no bump in 2 days, hence adding another check period.

... I think the problem now is that it's not reading the right page though, because..

... It means I've fixed the bumper! Just cleaned it up by blackboxing the latest post reader into separate functions, one that returns the last page of a topic, and then one that returns the post data (topic, author, time, post, msg, sig) as a little struct so I can combine the two for another function that takes a topic id, gets the last page of the topic, then pulls the last post of that page, and checking if it's posted a day ago or not.

Seems working no matter how many pages or posts i got, so I just have one alt designated for that task before proceeding to the random alt that makes the bump.

also GTM I gave your account special privileges to be able to bump any topic :D

... actually one of the very first things I did when I came to Japan was hunt through music stores all across Tokyo looking for Otamatones... the DX was all I could find, but I bought it. Then figured out about online ordering for the first time to get the smaller versions...

... oh yeah I never did mention the chihuahua whistle in there. I was gonna paint it something special with some paints I bought for my dillo clay figures....
