Very rarely do you cite "the government"; instead you mostly cite alt news and publications which have been busted for fraud. When you do cite the government, either your source contradicts your statement, is incomplete or of limited relevancy to the discussion,

You mean the claim that you deliberately misstated to make it appear less accurate? And, as already noted, the proof is reality itself, where only restrictions --- ie, artificial measures -- have served to really reduce the US's reliance on coal. If you did have a widescale (which was an important word in my original statement, so naturally you dropped it) power source which was cheaper while also being cleaner (also an important distinction in my original statement), literally everybody would be using it without needing any restrictions because companies would make more money that way and people like cleaner products. Try using your brain for a change.

Also, the government can be the worst source, depending whose it is. Look at the imaginary WMDs that led to invading Iraq and letting ISIS happen. Meanwhile, North Korea threatens nuclear annihilation and nothing happens... Both consistent and credible. It is only getting worse now. Chinese media may be more honest at this point.

First, overlooking the clear biases, you do know that some of those Pulitzers were given back BECAUSE the reporters who won them faked the stories, right? I know I've pointed that out numerous times already, but you don't seem to grasp that. And, last I checked, the Pulitzers don't do any fact-checking. If they did, they'd avoid some embarrassing situations where their winners turned out to be total frauds.
