My phone's GPS isn't working at all. Not for google maps. Not for Pokémon Go. Not for anything.

My wifi CONSTANTLY drops. I'm 5 feet fr my router and I constantly go from 2 wifi bars to LTE. I can't even watch a video on my phone without constant quality drops because it loses its connection.

I hate this.

Does anything else drop out when connected to the router? If so, it might be your router.

How old is your phone and have you tried formatting? Discounting wear and tear, some OS/apps updates sometimes cause more issues than they fix.

Will be 3 years old in September.

My phone is the only one in the house that drops wifi. Everyone else is fine with all their devices.

to do a factory reset on the phone? you literally just go to the settings and it's in there to do it.

i really doubt you googled it because you can find the info in two seconds.

Of course I factory reset my phone. I've reset network setting. I've backed up my phone onto iTunes, wiped it, and restored it. I've done everything short of cracking the thing open and examining the circuitry

it's probably a failing hardware issue. is there a reason you haven't just got a new phone already? you're probably eligible for an upgrade by now.

Yeah, this phone has followed me through thick and thin. I'm honestly surprised it's lasted this long.It didn't even croak that time I fell into a kiddie pool.

I just haven't bothered getting a new one since I live in the boonies and we don't have an Apple Store for at least an hour an a half. Once I move to tampa I'm sure I'll find somewhere. It's just a bitch dealing with this piece of crap right now.

can't you go to your local store for whatever service provider you use for the actual service? like at&t or verizon? you don't have to go to an apple store.

That's the problem. The closest place I can get it fixed is the same place with the Apple Store. I'd take the trip, but the next 3 weeks are gonna be filled with school obligations.

But that's my fault for deciding to do a year of my masters program. Thems the breaks for Academia, I guess.
