CS classes get moved to the Faculty of Arts, you get a few niche academic circles studying the poetic implications of popular or noteworthy programs, and not much else. Most of the effect would just be on the emotional state of the coders, which wouldn't really be all that significant on a broader scale.

Good idea.

Become a pretentious code critic, and try to analyze and interpret the emotions of the guy who made that Hello World program you just saw.

That'd be roughly analogous to becoming a pretentious food critic and performing an in-depth analysis of the grilled cheese sandwich some guy just made.
