Not the actual story in game. We know there is hardly any. However, the lore behind the scenes that are with all those grimore cards is insanely deep. I thought I knew a lot about the lore of Destiny until I started to look it up to see what people pieced together. It is WAY deeper than I imagined. It would be an insult to say that the current games story barely scratches the surface of the hidden lore.
